Ingredients
- 1 lb butter
- 1/4 lb crisco
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 cup rice flour
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Steps
- Mix together butter, crisco, and icing sugar.
- Separately, combine rice flour, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Pour dry into wet. Knead a bit.
- Divide into 3 equal portions. Roll into logs. Chill 20 minutes.
- Slice 1/4 inch thick. Put a cherry in middle.
- Bake at 275 F for 20 minutes.
